I am creating an archive of pictures that I take from around the state. Having been born and raised in Hawaii, it's surprising how little I know of this state. What I mean is that I am trying to write a little about the various places that I am taking pictures of and I am realizing that I actually have to "research" these locations that I've always taken for granted! There are places that I drive by almost every day and there are places that I haven't seen for many, many years and I am only now discovering an appreciation for the beauty of the island. I hope to share with you some of the things that make this state unique. Diamond Head : Halona Blowhole : Koko Head : Waikiki : Hanauma BayHalona Blowhole More commonly called "Blowhole," this is a traditional "must see" as you travel down Kalanianaole Hwy on your way toward Sandy Beach. I don't have any pictures yet of the actual "hole" for which this site is named, but give me some time and I'll do my best to get something interesting hopefully without getting myself killed. For now, I did get the interesting pictures below.
