Below are some pictures of my visit to the 2006 First Hawaiian International Auto Show. I'm not all that interested in stock manufacturer's cars, I mainly wanted to see any vintage and custom rides. Modern cars have great safety and performance features, but vintage autos have real character. Below are some of the more interesting rides I saw.


Here is a 1953-CE, 1953 - 2003 Commemorative Edition Corvette. A beautiful balance of style and performance. Based on the Chevrolet C5 Corvette convertible. New body panels are installed on factory mounting locations, so the car remains structurally intact along with all the performance and modern safety and comfort features of a C5 Corvette. It's a classic body style and curves on a modern Corvette. The 1953-CE conversions are built by Advanced Automotive Technologies.
